leader of the pack sponsor
MSgt Steve Gagnon, USMC (ret.)
Steve was a Master Sergeant with The United States Marine Corps Reserves. He was assigned to the position of Logistics Chief for his unit during deployment to Iraq and Kuwait. Steve was later assigned to Mortuary Affairs and had to help 750 Fallen Angels (Military Service members) be prepared so their remains could be sent home. Steve conducted and participated in all 750 funeral ceremonies and is very traumatized from his time of service in this position. He witnessed unspeakable horrors and feels guilty for coming home alive. Steve hopes a Service Dog can help him return to the man he was before he had PTS and to better connect to his wife and children. Steve has bumped with SILER and they are working together on Intervention Transfer Training .
