Linda Schoorens

Linda experienced a traumatic event during her teenage years. Since then, she has struggled with depression and anxiety. In addition, two of her children tragically passed away, which has compounded her depression and anxiety, and contributed to her PTSD. She has flashbacks of events, and avoids places that remind her of her trauma. She lacks focus, has trouble sleeping at night, and often feels alone in her depression. 

When Linda met HAWK, a fun-loving Lab, she knew she had met her new best friend! HAWK will walk with Linda each day, and help her by anchoring her to rising anxiety, and paying attention. This will allow Linda to go out into society, without having to constantly watch over her shoulder, and give her confidence to get through each day! HAWK will also help retrieving medication for Linda. These two are a great team, and there is nothing they cannot do together!
