DOG Name: BAYLOR
Team Since: 2015
Hi, my name is Atalie. I am 13 years old and I live in Kentucky. I absolutely love dogs and I am so excited to have BAYLOR as my Assistance Dog!
Most days I appear like a normal kid, but I have a condition called Osteogenesis Imperfecta. It causes me to have fragile bones, muscle weakness and very loose joints. I have had lots of broken bones and dislocations. I also have Scoliosis and my back hurts really badly because of this.
BAYLOR helps retrieve items for me, and helps me brace from sit to stand transitions. He is a great motivator for me during physical therapy and he is always there to help me recover and feel better after surgery.
I try to be as careful as I can be everyday but I refuse to live my life in a bubble. I’m a fun, happy spirited girl.
BAYLOR will be able to help me in so many ways by helping me pick up stuff or being a friend when I am hurt or feeling left out.

PIF 2 measures funds and "non-cash" credit from a Direct Client or Handler, which does not result from a Direct Client's or Direct Handler's direct efforts. Once a Direct Client or Handler reaches the $10,000 PIF 1 Goal, then ALL funds and "non-cash" credit are applied PIF 2.
