Dakota is a teenager who has been diagnosed with anxiety and depression. He sought treatment but felt like nothing was helping with his anxiety. He suffers from frequent panic attacks, as well as nausea, body aches, and pains doctors feel are stress-induced. He has a hard time walking through the halls at school and has no desire to participate in typical teenage milestones.
Dakota met DOVER, a sweet Chocolate Lab, in March of 2018. DOVER will help Dakota to become more social, boosting his self-esteem and allowing him to engage in healthy relationships with his friends and family! DOVER will also help by interrupting behaviors, as well as anchoring to Dakota’s anxiety. We are excited to have this team in our paws4people family!
