Caitlyn was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes during her early teenage years. This means she must be diligent with blood sugar monitoring and always having quick access to her medical bag. EVERSEST is trained to alert Caitlyn when her glucose levels are out of her normal range. He is also trained to retrieve her medical bag, juices or any other items she may need. He will also anchor when he feels she is anxious.
Caitlyn and EVEREST have been a powerful team since 2016. They successfully navigated through high school and college. EVEREST was also by Caitlyn’s side during her most recent endeavors which include marriage, moving to another state and starting a full time job. We have loved watching these two bond and grow together and we can’t wait to see what they will accomplish next.
