Facility Dog Teams
DOG Name: POTTER
Team Since: 2017
Ben is the District Attorney for New Hanover and Pender Counties in North Carolina. He works with victims of crimes, many of whom are children, both in and out of the courtroom. These victims have witnessed trauma that they often find difficult to talk about.
POTTER is a great asset for the District Attorney’s office. POTTER is able to bring comfort to victims of crime both in the office, and in the court room during trial. He puts these individuals at ease, allowing Ben and office staff to help guide them through the trial process much easier. He is also a big help in improving staff morale, providing comfort to office staff who often are confronted daily by upsetting and, often times, devastating crimes.
This team is doing great things in New Hanover County, NC, and we are thrilled to be working them!
